PRAIA DO CASTELO
A perfect example of a picture postcard beach. A beautiful cove reached by steep steps. A first class restaurant built into the cliff, and lifeguards in season.

ALBUFEIRA
Two good beaches, backed by dramatic cliffs, easy access to both through a short tunnel through the cliffs. Lots of bars and restaurants. Good swimming with flags and lifeguards in season.

SANTA EULALIA
A long stretch of sand, providing excellent windsurfing conditions. Windsurf shop, bar and restaurant. Regatta every Sunday in season.

OLHOS DE AGUA A small beach with fishing boats to the rear, access to other beach areas across the sandy cliffs. Plenty of bars and restaurants. The bar on the beach is well worth a visit for superb fish dishes - you need to stroll across the sand to find this - but be careful not to get stranded by the tide !

VALE DO LOBO Long sandy beach, with Vale do Lobo complex set back behind, with its restaurants & bars, shops, hotels & apartments. Watersports & life guards in season.

QUINTA DO LAGO
Very similar facilities to Vale do Lobo. There is also a beautifull inland lake, with splendid restraunt, swimming pool, and sailing/canoeing.

VILAMOURA
Miles & miles of golden sands, with restaurant & bar. Watersports, life guards in season.

QUARTEIRA
A long stretch of sand with several protective banks stretching out to sea. Backed by a wide variety of shops bars and restaurants along the promenade, very easy access by car.
